Creative Recycling World Company Ltd. (CRWC) is running a super-clean recycling process (VACUREMA® Prime) has capacity of 16 000 t per year.
The CRWC super-clean recycling process comprises the following main decontamination process steps:
• Step 1: Grinding of re-collected post-consumer PET containers into flakes followed by an intensive wash process and drying
• Step 2: Decontamination and crystallization of the flake material from step 1 including high temperature and vacuum in a batch reactor
• Step 3: Further decontamination of the flake material from step 2 including high temperature and vacuum in a continuous running reactor
• Step 4: re-extrusion of decontaminated flakes from step 3 including high temperature vacuum degassing and crystallization of pellets
The CRWC recyclate will be used together with virgin PET to produce new single use PET food contact articles with up to 100% recyclate.
