ASSAD is a Tunisian company specialized in designing, manufacturing, distributing and recycling of lead storage batteries, since 1974. Its production covers a wide range of applications: automotive, marine, solar energy, recreation, industry, computing and telecommunications.
Our recycling plant has a treatment capacity of 30,000 MT, whereas our local market produces at most 10,000 MT of battery scraps. Assad listed on Tunis stock exchange and 70% of its production is exported on EMEA; half of them on European market, mainly France, Spain, Germany, UK and Italy.
Currently we are looking to import these battery scraps from worldwide suppliers. The recycling process includes the transportation, storage and processing (milling, reduction, refining and alloying, storage and packaging). We are looking for a long term supplier.
